If you want your city and army to grow quickly, you must recruit officers. Officers are divided into three different categories: competent, strategic and war. Officer ranks also range from green to blue to purple. Each type of officer has its own characteristics. The officer in charge category can increase your city's, building speed, research speed, etc. Strategic officers can increase the size of your fleet, training speed, etc. War officers can increase the attack, defence and HP of your troops.

One man's power is limited, and that's where joining a good alliance is important. In times of trouble, you will be able to get donations of resources from your allies to help you out of a crisis.
